I'd imagine the settings that it got during installation are standardly
standard. I'm running a lot of X4xx0 hardware and other than tweaking some
kernel, fs and net settings for some Oracle databases we've left everything
as it is.
It depends what you want to do with the box. If it's nothing special that
specifically says it wants something set then I'd leave it alone.
