Perhaps it would be helpful to read Red Hat's pieces on the phases of a lifecycle, and reflect on how that drives slipstreamed fixes and enhancements, vs. being constrained to pure security updates. Also, with a RHEL 6 in testing, engineering focus will tend to shift to the latest release, notwithstanding the Enterprise moniker.
