Hi
I have just updated 2 boxes from 5.4 to 5.5 and both now have the same
problem with the gnome desktop.
The symptom is when it starts on the panel you only get up to the
firefox icon, and all the desktop icons are missing.
When i look at add/remove software, it shows the gnome desktop un-ticked.
When i tick the box and click apply, it installs nautalus and
gnome-vfs2-smb, after that the desktop works.
