I think he was asking about policies, not discrete events (like the 3.6.4 rebase). Again, everything anyone needs to know about the recent rebase is in the RHSA itself: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2010-0501.html The errata on all Red Hat products are always public (no RHN login required): https://rhn.redhat.com/errata Also, a little tidbit ... if you _ever_ want to know what legacy or recent product decision was made on the great majority of Fedora, Red Hat or other releases, I've been leveraging Bugzilla for over a decade: https://bugzilla.redhat.com I was in a Red Hat class three (3) years ago, and a question came up. Sure enough, it was a long-ago made decision that Bugzilla completely explained, ending all speculation. Bugzilla references are often listed in the RHBA/RHEA/RHSA, RPM package changelogs and elsewhere. I did not see a BZ listed or referenced in the RHSA. I also don't see it in the changelog. Sometimes they are not immediately public for customer or other reasons, but they are there for legacy reference in the future. As I always say, Bugzilla is a great way to find out "what Red Hat was thinking," and often right alongside the customers. ;) -- Bryan P.S. I know people like to think Red Hat ~ Ubuntu, but one needs to remember and understand the release model is not remotely similar. At a very loose relationship, Fedora ~ Ubuntu, with a similar release period (not considering at Ubuntu LTS) and decision making when it comes to alignment with upstream v. direct customer requirements (especially when it comes to backports and longterm ABI/API integration issues). Red Hat solutions are customer-driven, and as a customer over almost a decade, I've always found it best to leverage my Red Hat representatives and customer support channels to get the information and/or changes in the product necessary. -- Bryan J Smith Professional, Technical Annoyance ------------------------------------------------------------ "Now if you own an automatic ... sell it!
