Grr, as soon as I sent this, I realize that (despite double checking), I managed to typo _netdev. "multipath -v2" shows nothing. Or does LVM-on-multipath somehow just confuse this? Watching the counters, it appears that multipath is in fact working, it just doesn't show up.
