Folks,
I'm running a KVM guest on HP blades and I've stumbled across a problem.
Even though the physical hardware is not busy at all, some times my
guests will report things like:
INFO: task java:2989 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
and
BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 10s! [java:870]
There are numerous reports of similar behavior on debian and ubuntu:

But they are for higher versioned kernels. The guest is running
2.6.18-194.11.1.el5 and the host is running 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5.
Anyone know what's happening here? The timestamps of these logs
correspond with outages.
