Hi,
My server is set with bond/trunk, three subnets are set with bond
OS : RHEL5.5 86_64
The scenario is as follows:
bond0 is set with eth0 and eth1,
Three subnets are set with bond0
So, bond0 with bond0.10, bond0.11, bond0.12
The problem is, when I am trying to reboot the server , while shutting down
bond0.10 and bond0.11 and bond.12, the errors are coming as
Shutting down interface bond0.10: ERROR: trying to remove VLAN -:bond0.10:-
error: Operation not p;ermitted..
similary errors for the other two ,then the message is :
Shutting down interface bond0:
After that it is hanging.
To bring the server up, i have to shutdown the server then power on.
So, the issue is at network stop, start is fine.
FYI, this server was working fine without any issue, recently there is some
changes in the configurations ..But the changes are ok...
It will be really appreciated if some one gives me some hints to solve the
issue.
