I can't seem to view your file (server not responding), however it sounds like
it could be the following bug:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=660303

which is closed as a duplicate of this bug:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=663403

Red Hat appears to be close to release an errata on it, maybe. Half the
comments are private.

Subject: [rhelv5-list] pup problem

I normally use the yum command remotely from the command line. Recently,
however, I had occasion to login in on the console on a couple of machines and
saw that I wasn't "receiving updates" when I launch pup from the console, I see
errors contained in the following file:

   http://blizzard.atms.unca.edu/~rkb/pu.txt

I did some searches and didn't find any
solutions.

I am a NC State satellite user here at UNC Asheville, and Jack Neely offered
one suggestion: to delete everything under /var/cache/yum, alas that did not
correct the problem.

He suggested I send you a message asking if you had any suggestions?

Thanks...
