Whoa there, Leigh. i was just asking. While not an aerial engineer, I am also not an ignorant person who espouses "conspiracy theories" just for the fun of it. I am certainly aware of the real conspiracy happening right before our eyes (and by that I assume you mean the Bush/Cheney junta); and my disbelief of the conventional wisdom of what happened to the Pentagon is framed thereby. One has to admit that the missing documents, tapes, and Bush's questionable behavoir on that day, coupled with the curious refusal of and then "off the record" statements by the tandem President and Vice President to the 9/11 Commission do not point to a firm belief that things are as they appear. That, as Frank Zappa once said, is "The crux of the biscuit", they knew something was up... they had "friends" in that area of the world, as anyone who has studied the Saudi-US oil linkages would know, and they did nothing, absolutely nothing substantial to prevent a terrible tragedy and then played off it to attack a country that has *never* done anything to us. Things, as you say, are not as they appear, but: I have a quote that describes my problem with most "latent" conspiricies, to use the sociological term. "If they can get you to ask the wrong questions... they don't have to worry about the answers" --Thomas Pynchon, Gravity's Rainbow (Proverbs for Paranoids) Always keep that in mind... disinformation is their "job #1" and they can play it in innumerable ways.
