Kerry was never really against Bush and the system he represents. Kerry is a man of no consequence.
If Bush is the contemporary US equivalent of Agosto Pinochet, Kerry would be representing the American counterpart of the Chilean gentry and bourgeoisie. The Chilean gentry shut up, kept a low profile, and lived happily under Pinochet thereafter. William Clinton was a man of no consequence either. He merely further facilitated the process of transformation of the American imperialist power started by Ronald Reagan and his British friend. All these liars and loyal butlers working for the big boys, play heavily into populist and communitarian values, hence the so called "cultural war", which is a war of no consequences. Each seek military enlargement of sorts through multilateral/liberal and unilateral/imperialist means respectively. But the the very causes of these interventions are causes of no genuine aim. As time more one, the global capital will come to appreciate the apparati of saddistic violence unleashed on the deprived and the excluded of the world.
