I have had to reject several submissions to the pnews-l and pnews-list lists and the rhetoric-list and rhetoric (at) St Johns forums. Submissions which are not a progressive solution to problems --- and name calling does not provide any understanding of the issues. It is not a question of disagreeing or agreeing with anyone. The point is, these forums/lists are based on the mission statement for PNEWS-L as described at http://pnews.org/signup.shtml .. Racism, bigotry and hate have no place in the progressive discourse. Understanding does. Class struggle does. Please address comments to those issues. Drop the rants and concentrate on substantive strategies and solutions. Make participating here worthwhile. Raise the level of discourse.
