1. Report from the Starvation Zone.
There are people who have agreed to feed the Charles River White Geese on
particular days of the week now that nine members of the Cambridge City Council
are aggressively trying to starve them.
Reports are that the geese are adapting and are happily recognizing their
benefactors.
A lot of money is being spent. It is hoped that we will have a tax-exempt
non-profit in place as soon as possible.
Clearly donations at the present time to Friends of the White Geese, 651 Green
Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 would be happily accepted. The contributions just
cannot be taken off your income tax.
2. Why the Strong Title to Evil 218?
In Evil 218, I reported that a meeting called by two of the nine
environmentally sick Cambridge City Councilors was declared to support siccing
dogs on the Charles River White Geese if the nine environmental sickos did not
succeed in starving them first.
The text accurately stated that to be the position which was that of three
developer-types in the audience. And developer types routinely and sickly
destroy anything of beauty that obstructs development.
Trouble is that Councilor Murphy chaired the meeting in such a manner that any
and all suggestions from the audience became the position of the meeting by
definition. There was no reasonable choice.
Secondly, you show me a meeting called by members of the Cambridge City Council
which is obviously stacked in the direction wanted by the Cambridge City
Council, I will show you a meeting that has been stacked.
Thirdly, in five years of consistently sick treatment of the Charles River
White Geese by Cambridge and its buddies, NO MEMBER OF THE REPREHENSIBLE
CAMBRIDGE CITY COUNCIL HAS EVER SHOWN THE SLIGHTEST SHRED OF DECENCY OR
RESPONSIBILITY.
We are dealing with nine belligerent sickos who are proud to be sickos.
But the nine belligerent sickos are much worse than that.
At the same time as they are proud of belligerent sickness on environmental
matters within their jurisdiction, at the same time as these nine sick people
are proud of their reprehensible treatment of beautiful, valuable animals,
these nine sick people run a nonstop pattern of lies to their constituents that
they are holier than thou. These hypocritical lies are on matters over which
they have no power whatsoever.
GREAT WORDS OF DECENCY AND HONOR EXCEPT WHEN THEY ARE IMPLEMENTING THEIR OWN
POWERS.
These sick hypocrites spout pious lies of pacifism while deliberately starving
the beautiful, valuable, 24 year resident Charles River White Geese.
REALLY, REALLY VILE HYPOCRITES.
3. Karen Parker to Cambridge Chronicle.
Karen has passed on the following letter which seems to have been accepted by
the Cambridge Chronicle. It is unedited except for running a spell check and
the equivalent.

I am writing on behalf of myself, Karen Parker about the article printed a few
weeks ago in the Boston Globe about the Charles River White Geese in Cambridge.
Although there were some good points made to help the geese. The other stuff
written that the Cambridge City Council have no intentions of harming the geese
or wish them any ill will, is simply not true. I have witnessed several
accounts of their lack of caring, outright lies and silence on this matter for
2 years now. I go to the city council meetings from time to time. Never once,
has anyone in the city government responded to help these creatures. A few
weeks ago I went with someone who spoke up and said, when are you people going
to show some leadership on this, it fell to deaf ears. She also mentioned after
years of them not listening, when would they listen, no response to say the
least. I was really disturbed by their lack of any concern, not one iota. These
things are on record, they are videotaped by CCTV.
I also witnessed on television the Cambridge City Council telling Bob La
Tr�mouille, that they never had anything to do with any geese eggs being oiled
they were, illegally previously and also this year. The Canada Geese eggs can
be oiled by a license from the state, but the white geese's cannot, they were
last year and this year. Many organizations are involved in this. The program
geese peace, well sounds nice, but is actually pretty cruel. The geese sit on
their eggs waiting to hatch, they never do, pretty distraught animals. Also
there are not thousands of droppings Charles, come down, take a look. It is an
exaggerated by people who simply cannot deal with the minor inconvenience of a
few goose poops. It is about as selfish as you can get. These geese are not
hurting anyone, the people are hurting them. The city council also recommends
that people bring their dogs down to make them stay away. Do you think the city
council would like it if I brought my dog to go after their cats.
These are living creatures. I would hope you people never publish an article
that defends these people who just do not care. The geese have lived here at
Magazine Beach, by no fault of their own. They are trying to live just like us.
How is that any different?
They are slowly starving from lack of grass they were supposed to eat this
fall, a lot of people care about them. I also hope you people could show some
conscience in support of the geese.
Another thing is the Charles River Conservancy, was on CCTV discussing the bike
path they are building at Magazine Beach, which is being built at the geese's
feeding ground that they cannot get to. When questioned about it, they denied
any bike path. The rep from Charles River Conservancy was talking to Tim Toomey
a representative. Its on film . They are lying. What is it going to take to get
the real story out. I hope you will seriously consider what I am saying. These
geese are going to die and no one is trying to save their home except the
people supporting them. This issue when the lives of dozens of animals are at
stake. I guess these people see no value in the real beauty of nature on our
planet. I also think someone from the Globe should know, that not really seeing
the effects from day to day and really being there on the Charles River, it is
not fair to say that there is no damage going on. I see it, I've been there.
There is a threat to make these white geese extinct on the
Charles and significantly reduce Canada Geese and other animals, not to
mention all the trees that will be cut down and wetlands destroyed. This is
definitely a threat to our environment and the animals.
4. Marilyn: The Three Developers?
Last time, Evil 218, I reported a meeting conducted by two Cambridge City
Councilors which resulted in the Councilors taking a motion from three
developer types that dogs be sicced on the Charles River White Geese at
Magazine Beach. I predicted this would happen in Evil 217.

I do not know the names of the folks. Clearly a lot of Davis� neighbors were
there and these were among them.
One specifically suggested using the area behind the ball diamond as a dog
area.
I believe he is the one who drove up there in a pick up truck. The geese and I
were entertaining a young father with a son perhaps three years old. The lad
was in the middle of the gaggle. The bastard seeing this, with a big smile on
his face, opened the door to sic his dog on the geese.
The geese took flight, protecting their lives at the expense of scaring the
little kid silly.
That little child and his father were horrified.
The sicko from the meeting enjoyed himself.
Happily, the dog got too close to one goose and accidentally got hit very
firmly with a big wing.

5. An Animal Abuser == A Child Abuser ==?

As I just said, this is the kind of people that nine Cambridge City Councilors
are pandering to.
B. An Animal Abuser == A Rapist and Murderer? � The Rape and Murder of Io
Nachtweg.
Then there was the rape and murder of Io Nachtweg.
The Cambridge City Council spent hours discussing her rape and murder.
The Cambridge City Council spent hours discussing the pick up of Io Nachtweg in
Harvard Square and her being driven around the Boston area by a group of young
people.
They discussed, repeatedly, the fact that she was raped and murdered.
The Cambridge City Council did not want to know where Io Nachtweg was raped and
murdered.
The vilest member, Henrietta Davis, briefly commented that Io Nachtweg was
raped and murdered at the goose meadow where the Charles River White Geese used
to nest until friends of the Cambridge City Council destroyed it for nesting.
Davis swallowed her words and looked around guiltily.
The rape and murder occurred on Halloween 2001.
Goose killings started in spring 2001. Mother geese were killed on their nests
as they tried to have babies in an area next to the railroad tracks to the east
of their former nesting area
That vegetation for that nesting area was destroyed in the last few months by
friends of the Cambridge City Council.
As the killings proceeded there was more than one type of killing.
Some killings looked highly organized and included the removal of the body.
These organized type killings have continued. They are probably by the MDC/DCR
or their close associates.
The first of the killings, starting in spring 2001, involved use of a blanket
to cover the victim and beat her to death, until we got rid of the blanket.
In July 2001, the leader of the gaggle, Bumpy, was killed with similar
brutality.
Bumpy's body was recovered from the Charles River live under the camera of
Boston Channel 4 and led that stations 11 pm newscast that Sunday evening.
Our memorial service for Bumpy dominated the front page of the Cambridge
Chronicle.
One of our key suspects was a homeless individual who lived in Boston across
the railroad bridge.
One of the suspects in the rape and murder of Io Nachtweg looks like that
individual. This suspect lived in that homeless encampment.
The Cambridge City encouraged the killings through a consistent silence and the
knowledge of everybody concerned that the killings further the goals of the
Cambridge City Council and its friends.
Even after the murder of Bumpy with its highly visible publicity, the Cambridge
City Council encouraged the killings with a consistent silence.
This is the kind of people that the Cambridge City Council is pandering to.
This is the kind of people that the Cambridge City Council is encouraging.
C. The Cambridge City Council panders to children.
Just Monday night (November 15, 2004) the animal abusing Cambridge City Council
presented itself as a role model to a delegation of school children.
Nine members of the Cambridge City Council are publicly starving the Charles
River White Geese by putting up three walls of barriers blocking their access
to their feeding ground of 24 years.
The Cambridge City Council has happily presided over a five year terror
campaign against the Charles River White Geese featuring killings, beatings and
maimings.
The Cambridge City Council has happily presided over a two year campaign
against the Charles River White Geese in which their babies were killed in
their eggs.
The Cambridge City Council looks like it has human blood on its hands and has
no intention whatsoever of paying reparations to the family of Io Nachtweg.
On the Charles River, Cambridge and its buddies are in the process of
destroying all animal habitat, all wetlands, all wetlands vegetation and more
than 449 to 660 trees. Between the BU and Longfellow Bridges, Cambridge and its
buddies are destroying the vast majority of the parking, reserving parking only
for the very rich.
Monday night, the Cambridge City Council entertained a delegation of school
children.
Monday night, the Cambridge City Council passed an order praising those
children.
Nine belligerent, defiant animal abusers and environmental destroyers, a City
Council very likely with human blood on its hands, setting themselves up as
role models to decent, impressionable children.
6. The Cambridge, MA City Council is beneath the contempt of decent human
beings.

Do you have any idea what it's like to be able to spend your lunch hour
watching a harmless flock of wild creatures feeding just feet away? Can you
imagine for a moment the life of a nature-and-greenery-starved office worker
who walks out to the Charles to see the trees and grass and water and geese on
her lunch hour?
The white geese were a lifeline for me during the five years I worked in
Cambridge. I can only imagine what they are for the people who live there, in
that asphalt and concrete desert.
I read that you were praising the bike path along the Charles. Why, Mr. Toomey?
Because you LIKE the look of pavement and manicured grass where there ought to
be a tiny piece of wilderness?
Or maybe you LIKE the look of the bodies of the white geese as they starve in
their habitat this winter?
If you don't act now to save their habitat, to have the barriers and fences
removed so that they can easily get to the water and feed, you are just as much
a murderer of helpless animals as the human beasts who beat and shoot them.
Silence equals complicity, Representative. Praise implies even more -- active
guilt, an active desire to slaughter these animals.
Because why?
Because you think there ought to be some MORE pavement in Cambridge?
Please do something to redeem yourself, sir.
