This is one of the many lies that really rankles me. I hear it repeated by
the mainstream media ad nauseum. Every time I hear how Saddam ordered the
U.N. inspectors out of Iraq in 1998 I cringe. And yet, when I mention this
to so many other people, I am told I am wrong. That of course, Saddam
ordered them out; why else would they leave? Tell people a lie often enough
and they believe it.
I also remember seeing red when Bush sat their talking with the press, on
two separate occasions and told the world that we had no choice but to go
into Iraq because Saddam refused to allow the inspectors back in. What was
Han Blix doing; sunning himself on the beach all those months?
