To align many of your positions with that of the Bush's Administration - widely regarded the most debased in our Nation's history - is beyond comment. Your position on those mentioned are the opposite of democratic principles, which are true democracy, liberty and justice. Regrettably I cannot in conscience continue soliciting support for you as I have been doing (expending much time and effort these past months) unless it is clearly demonstrated that you have dis-associated yourself from many of the present Administration policies. Much of the Nation and, indeed the world, are sickened of the blatant lies and trickery practiced by the Bush clique for the benefit of the privileged at the expence of the workers that sustains this Nation by their deaths, blood, sweat and tears. You and your advisors should not be thinking of appeasing certain Republicans and the undecided by stooping to the level of this Administration. At the end of the day standard of principle and common decency should carry you through, then you can govern with pride and be respected, even by your opponents. He is out of touch with -- hell, he's never been in touch with -- the American experience, and would be the very antithesis of a fair broker for settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. His election is impossible under any scenario short of spiking the nation's water supply with LSD or inducing some kind of mass hypnosis of the voting public, and the ONLY role he can play is to empower the Republiscum party for another 4 years. His candidacy embodies the concept that "the perfect is the enemy of the good". While I'm suspicious of our ever having another free national election as it is, if the Grand Old Phascists win again in 2004, that may well be the last time we even get to pretend our votes are making a differnce.
