Copyright infringement is copying something in its entirety without
permission. Fair Use is using quotes with generally more comments than
quotes OR one can simply obtain authorization, which is what I do for
everything that is published on the web, in the portals or TheGolemsWiki.
It is safe to include POINTERS (links) to articles -- but most especially
that should be done when the article can be read elsewhere. Recycling the
news is what makes many lists worthless unless they are strictly for news,
in which case it is simply more efficient and makes more sense to go to
the source.
A blog is a new term. It was invented with the software to enable web
publishing .. Essentially it turned editors into online publishing tools.
That is all a blog is. And about 70% of these sites are never visited and
abandoned. It adds to the massive information overload and it really can't
be called information; it is more like data or GIGO...
