Send "get pnews-l welcome" to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and do the same for rhetoric - for instructions how to use the LISTSERV mailing lists. As for WIKIs and Portals, see intro there as well. Take the tour of FAQs at alt.answers in newsgroups for HowTos for everyting on the Internet (from soup to nuts). This list is not for teaching how to use the Internet so that part is up to you. As to how to use a LISTSERV mailing list, get that from the LISTSERV using the instructions above or see http://pnews.org/signup.shtml where the mission statement is posted and instructions to unsub and sub to the forums. As for blogs, that is software . All it implies is someone has a website and the software is a web interface. It is a new fad and quite frankly I doubt that it will catch on for the long term. It still takes an awareness that too few are willing to seek out and learn on their own. There are TWO servers here, a dedicated server for pnews.org and a remotely hosted server for g0lem.net. All use apache software for webserving. All are using Linux operating systems. All portals, Wikis and everyting else is accessible from http://pnews.org/ ALSO, all subscribers here, DO NOT use non text (use only ascii) characters here.
