Well, here's the thing: I enjoy working with other people, talking
things out - that's one of the things I enjoy about full time
employment that I never really got with contracting / consulting work.
I was curious how that went in the open source world and over message
board so I tried this out. So far I've not been a big fan of how this
works, but I also enjoy the work itself so like I said, for this stuff
I'll just work more on my own and not ask as many questions.

Those tests I were posting were questions, not examples of how things
work in Rhino Mocks, but perhaps I didn't make that clear. In each
example, I posted one that worked and one that didn't. I didn't
understand why the ones that didn't work, didn't and was asking a
question about that. For example, why
Expect.Call(something).Return(somethingElse) does something different
than something.Expect(x => whatever).Return(somethingElse) work
differently. That's a pretty subtle difference to me. I understand I
missed the .Repeat.Any() in some of the things I posted but I also saw
a posting by ayende on his blog saying he changed that behavior so
maybe I'm not so crazy after all.

I'm still unsure if I am making changes in the correct spot (which was
the original question), but at the same time I've been in environments
where I can't get much done because people are constantly
interrupting. My preference is to not veer too much to either end and
to discuss things but also allow some quiet time. In a message board
that seems pretty easy to manage on your own whether you are allowing
someone else to bother you or not.

After reading Simon's responses the first thing I did was look at his
history of posts and all the other ones seemed normal so I was willing
to let this one go and assume either a bad day on his part or me
asking too many questions without doing enough research. But I get you
guys trying to make sure the environment isn't hostile and all that.
Don't worry about it. I say let's stick to the technical questions and
answers and like ayende said, feel free to direct me to websites or
docs if the questions have been answered previously.
