Why do you care about the unnecessary subscriptions? Seems like an unnecessary step, not an issue, just not fond of sending things across the wire when it's not needed. Why are you using Notify? I assume your question is "Are you using Notify?" not questioning our usage of it. In a few cases, yes we are, but 99% is using Send / Reply. The cases in which we are using Notify it's for messages that are just sending out events that have occurred for any interested endpoints. A couple examples are EmployeeLoggedIn, and EmployeeLoggedOut when we use Notify.
