I saw a pull request<https://github.com/hibernating-rhinos/rhino-esb/pull/6>that allows the one-way bus port to be configured. I wonder if this would be causing the write errors. in production the esb was running on 2200 and the website was using one-way bus and they are running on the same machine. I will experiment with port configuration and see if that solves the problem.
