I think Roy's book does a great job...as far as "Advanced" I'm typically
wary. There are legitimate use cases for certain techniques but often times
hard tests indicate more of a design problem than a need for a trick...at
least in my opinion...what do others think?

There is not a Rhino book as far as I know...
