Just checked out rhythmbox from cvs, and running ./autogen.sh
--enable-daap , I get this message:
checking for AVAHI... checking for HOWL... configure: error: DAAP
support explicitly requested, but no mDNS implentation found. Install
Howl or Avahi
Now that's an odd deal, considering I have the following avahi
packages installed on my system:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/dev/rhythmbox$ dpkg -l |grep avahi
ii avahi-daemon 0.4-0ubuntu1
Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD daemon

ii libavahi-common0 0.4-0ubuntu1

ii libavahi-core-dev 0.4-0ubuntu1

ii libavahi-core0 0.4-0ubuntu1

ii libavahi-glib-dev 0.4-0ubuntu1

ii libavahi-glib0 0.4-0ubuntu1
Avahi glib integration library
ii python2.4-avahi 0.4-0ubuntu1

Is there something I'm missing? A later version of avahi perhaps? Or
is cvs currently broken?
I'm at loss, and would really like to test this feature alongside my
mac friends here ;-)
