I have an HAL FDI file which is useful. I have the SE W800i myself, so probably you need to add an entry with a different product id. It's available on: http://paul.luon.net/tmp/sony-ericsson-w800i.fdi I want to sent this to the HAL list for inclusion, but it might be more useful when the K700i and W810i have been added. :) > I've read in some previous emails that I have to find out some FDI > using the hal device manager. Anything else ? Well concerning accessing and playing from the phone, the FDI is all you need. > I'm not sure about the player lists but all I have to do so far is > copy the mp3 files in a MP3/ folder on the Phone Card. Btw, when I connect my phone to my computer over USB and I use some "heavy traffic" (like thumbnailing the photos dir) my kernel dies. Also RB sometimes triggers this by inspecting the MP3 files when I connect this or it gets I/O errors on some of the mp3s... not sure how to solve this yet, probably have to report it somewhere.
