Looks like the same issue. I had an ogg encoding profile set up, but not
one for mp3. When I created one, track transfer worked, sort of. The
file was created, but it was named song_namemp3, instead of
song_name.mp3. As you said before, it was transcoded from mp3 to mp3
(ogg files are also transcoded to mp3). It also didn't have tags, but
that was probably my fault with the way I set up the pipeline.

So basically, the problem is that rhythmbox only looks at the first
supported mime type for a player, and not the rest.
