I thought I'd update from 0.9.8 so I've just built rhythmbox 0.10.1 under Ubuntu Dapper Drake, downloaded from here:
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/rhythmbox/0.10/rhythmbox-0.10.1.tar.gz This compiled and installed fine - I'm running it now. Another little improvement, using "make -j 2" seems to use both my cores nicely (version 0.9.8 used to fail to build). Nice work there :) The point of this email is that I noticed the following deprecation warning when running configure - is this anything you guys need to worry about? Peter $./configure ... checking for pygtk h2def... /usr/bin/python /usr/share/pygtk/2.0/codegen/h2def.py checking whether gcc understands -fno-strict-aliasing... yes configure: WARNING: AM_PATH_CHECK() is deprecated configure: WARNING: use PKG_CHECK_MODULES([CHECK], [check >= 0.9.4]) instead checking for check - version >= 0.8.2... yes configure: creating ./config.status config.status: creating Makefile ... _______________________________________________ rhythmbox-devel mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/rhythmbox-devel
