Let me get this straight. You installed Ubuntu to a second hard disk, but wrote the MBR (Master Boot Record) to the first. So when you boot from your first hard disk, it starts GRUB and gives you a choice of OSes.
Then you "formatted" your first disk, so lost the MBR for it, and now you don't know how to boot Ubuntu? I don't think you have a "crashed" disk here. Boot up an Ubuntu Live CD and you should be able to access the disk from there. You can then look for the file /home/you/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml. Inside, search for "iradio" to find the XML entries for the radio stations you had. The URL for each station will be listed under the "location" element. (It's also completely trivial to reinstall an MBR, so don't go reinstalling Ubuntu unless you really want a fresh installation.)
