Hi, I took some time to refresh the code posted on that bug, but did not updated it yet. Beside some easy code clean up, there are some annoying problems: - the playback backends are partially broken w.r.t to adding/removing filters [1] - LADSPA filters works badly (hey, they are in gstreamer-bad after all!) [2], so we can only rely on the equalizer-nband filter (which fortunately is going to move to -good).
Fixing the backends should not be too hard (xfade seems nearly correct and its implementation could be ported to non-xfade). When this is done and equalizer-nband is in good, a working plugin could be shipped. cheers, Christophe [1] see bugs: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499052 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499048 [2] see bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499051 On Nov 26, 2007 9:13 PM, Andrew Conkling <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Nov 26, 2007 2:50 PM, Juan Ceccarelli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > when this feature will be available? > > it's very necesary > > This is often mentioned on the mailing list and other forums etc. It's been > reported in the bugtracker: > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76522 > > and it's been getting a lot of (recent) attention.
