git clone git://github.com/basho/riak None the Riak scripts ( make, make rel, make devrel, start, etc.. ) work on Mac, unless those '^M' are removed. ( just do "vi -b <script name>", you'll see those '^M's hiding there ). Is there a different path Riak should be cloned from to NOT have these Windows legacy thingies?
