I believe this has been covered earlier on the list (you can search the 
archives on markmail).

Short answer: yes, but you need valid DNS. If you don't have DNS, you can put 
the other node host names in your hosts file.

The vm.args -names parameter should be in the format nodename@ip_address/FQDN
