Fredrik, We only test upgrading from two-releases prior, so for 1.3.0, we have validated upgrades from 1.1.x and newer. You might be able to upgrade from 1.0.x, but it is untested, so I'd recommend upgrading to 1.2.1 and then 1.3.0.
