I've just hit this bug. s:fileupload is not working when client-side
SimpleTogglePanel has opened="false".
This quote practically localize the problem:
"I traced to SimpleTogglePanel decode logic. The logic checks the "openness"
first. If "openness" is false, it only decodes itself. Otherwise, it decodes
its children. Apparently the "client" switch type can not update the openness
state of the server Component Object".
Nick, since this is one of the top-voted issues and a really annoying one,
could you please address it anytime soon. STP is a very useful component, but
this bug renders it unusable (and guarantee few hours of debug if somebody hit
this).
