Sorting via rich:dataTable sortBy may not work if only one column has a

RichFaces Team,
I've noticed that when I have a rich:dataTable and I choose to add a sortBy to
one and only one column, no matter how many times I try to sort the column it
will not sort.
Likewise, once I put a sortBy on a second or third column, sorting works across
the board for all sortable columns.
Could this be a bug? I notice that with just one sortBy in the
rich:datatTable, the icons are not changing from ASC to DESC and vice versa and
likewise the data is not being sorted in that column.
