Documented as a fixed issue in WFK Release Notes:
When <classname>rich:suggestionBox</classname> was used with
<varname>usingSuggestObjects</varname>, a
<errorname>StackOverflow</errorname>
occurred because the serializer failed for objects containing
cycled references. This has been corrected.
