Jared Morgan commented on RF-8728:
----------------------------------
PressGang now maintains the base styles, Jay. I would be happy to talk with
you about pushing the enhancements introduced by the RichFaces team into the
base styles. This would remove the dependency and would mean your team does
not have to continue to maintain the styles.
Feel free to port this issue over to JDOCBOOKSTYLE, and comment what other
items you would like to see improved. Also comment what needs to happen
code-wise for the highlighter code to be ported. Is it just as simple as
copying over the extra classes? Or is there more to be done?
> Merge richfaces highlight source with AS version, and remove dependency from
> doc builds

> There seems to be a dependency from jdocbook on the highlight.jar. However
> for some reason it exists in the org.richfaces.docs directory, and believe
> was maintained by the previous doc team.
> This can cause a problem with builds in offline made, and seems not to be the
> best structure. I would like to understand the reason it is there, and if
> there is a way to remove it.
> To reproduce the issue:
> Clear the <mvn-local-repo>/org/richfaces/docs directory.
> In /root/docs/trunk run mvn -o clean install
