Resolution: Done
When the search panel is displayed the second time, the call to the width()
method of the popup panel is erroneously 0. This should be filed as a new
issue.
To resolve the issue with the showcase, I stored the initially retrieved
(correct) width in a global variable, and used that for positioning the popup.
