Re-closing this issue, as I assume the screenshot you provided is from this
[metamer
page|http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richPickList/simple.xhtml].
Note this page sets the list width, and the list height. If you constrain the
list widths, then shrink the page size, the width has to come from somewhere.
Solution: don't set the list widths, or (if you want to fix the list size) put
the pickList in a fixed size panel when you fix the list size.
