I managed to reproduce this outside of Metamer.
I took simpleapp and added an EDT to index.html - I used the one from [showcase
selection
management|http://showcase-latest.richfaces.org/richfaces/component-sample.jsf?demo=extendedDataTable&sample=exTableSelection&skin=blueSky]
(including all the necessary beans).
I also added a scroller and a row limit and put whole EDT into a4j:region.
With this done, I followed the steps to reproduce and had exactly the same
result as described.
