Dear Friends,

We all are aware that an important election is coming soon. We all are
acutely aware of recent financial events which have effected all Americans.
It is obvious that whomever is elected both in the presidency as well as
Congress will have a tremendous effect on our lives.

Clearly therefore all the facts surrounding those who seek election should
be made available to the electorate charged with deciding those candidates'
electoral fate. Many issues of constitutionality and the actions of those in
Congress have already been raised and we would like to urge all FOAVC
members to use whatever methods they have available to them to bring the
issue of an Article V Convention and the refusal of Congress to obey the
Constitution to the public forefront.

This is the time to make and demand the persons seeking congressional
office, particularly those seeking reelection, explain why they feel they
have the right to veto the Constitution and refuse to obey it. There is
little question that this principle first sanctioned in the courts regarding
Article V has spread to the rest of the Constitution.

These facts need to be told to the American electorate so they can in turn
use them to make a decision about our members in Congress. We ask you to
spread the word. Thank you.

Would you like to help organize a march on Washington
like the one that successfully brought an end to Viet war?
If we don't fire Washington, who will?
