"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue
of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks
and corporations that will grow up around them (the banks), will
deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up
homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father

-RICHS RANTS
I think I told you about when I packed up my family and left
Massachusetts. Do you believe the EJ Harrington Elementary in Lynn,
MA, refused to forward their records to the ILL school we registered
them in. The year was 1975.

Fast forward 10 years.

Remember Little House on the Prairie? Well, once upon a time thought
I was Charles Engels protecting my family. But as they grew up as
public school indoctrinated teenagers, we got a rude awakening when we
were informed our 16-year-old daughter could quit school without
letting us know. The following year, I got another surprise when I was
told that I couldn't stop a 2nd 16-year-old from driving the junk car
she bought, but I better buy her insurance because I was responsible
if she had an accident. And it wasn't too much later when I was told
my daughter had the right to see whomever she wanted, whenever she
wanted, and there was no legal way I could stop her. Again, we voted
with our feet. The year was 1986.

Hello Texas.

Well, today I'm not Charles Engels. More like his next door neighbor,
Mr Edwards. He was the mountain man Charles befriended. Like him, I
yearn for the good-old-days, when I mistakenly thought things were as
bad as they could be.

A couple of weeks ago, I got a call from my daughter who long ago
moved to New Hampshire. She told me our great-granddaughter came home
from school singing the praises of Lord Obama. "I love him so much,"
she added. And then I find out it is happening all over the country.
Somebody financed a national effort. Probably with some else's money.
The election has infiltrated kindergartens thruout the public schools
of America which explains why our once proud best-in-the-world
education system, circa 1955, is no longer in the top 20 of
industrialized nations. I couldn't believe it. How many people must
collude for this to happen in the supposed Land of the Free. Sounds
like something a domestic terrorist like Bill Ayers would be behind.
Hmmm.

As I look around today, I don't see my America. I see a big govt that
wants to put restraints on what I say and do---and there's nowhere
else to move to. They want to restructure the US, hell, the World, in
their image. Who the hell do they thing they are, the Messiah? The USG
may be bringing America down, but there's no where else I'd rather be.

Look at what has happened since George XXXXI proposed the NAFTA
Treaty, later ratified under Clinton. First, the Peace dividend we
expected for winning the Cold War, never materialized. It all went to
the banksters who gobbled up the S&Ls. You'd think, some one would get
mad.

Do you not remember, the last real recession (3 months of negative
growth) occurred at the very end of the Clinton Admin. GWB's tax cuts
cut it short because lower taxes creates taxable economic activity
resulting in greater govt revenue. I wouldn't mention that except,
with the economy teetering on the verge of another recession, one of
the candidates wants to undo the tax cuts that cut the last one short.

Next, the Clinton Admin reorganized the the Defense Industry, to make
sure it survived the Peace. Genl Dynamics got out of the war plane
business and Lockheed took over the F-16 etc. Some were merged or
absorbed by the big boys. A few disappeared, but the bottom line was,
the Defense Industry grew into a group of monopolies---one for fighter
planes, one for tank building, one for…. Predictably, the newly formed
govt monopolies lost their competitiveness when they had no one to
compete against. Duh!

Today the USAF goes to Europe for better value on new aircraft tanker
fleet than the American monopoly can no longer produce. The ship
yards, for all practical purposes, are gone and NASA is more concerned
with the myth of Global Warming than growing JFK's dream of conquering
space.

Clinton sent his Secty of Commerce, Ron Brown, on junkets with the
Captain's of Industry introducing them to the wonders of the cheap
labor of the Pacific Rim. Our once independent nation is now dependent
on other nations for even the simplest of things, like bicycles,
Christmas tree lights and car seats for children. Whole industries,
like TV/radio, computers, textiles and shoes gone. Our govt, except
for a few brave men willing to buck the system, have capped our oil
wells and limited coal mining while enriching, as they say, some
countries that aren't wishing US well. We've got all these crazy pols
running around telling US how they are going to give US health
insurance so more people will have health coverage---but ne'er mention
training more medical professionals to give US better medical care.
There's even a fedl cap on how many doctors may be licensed each year.

But lest you think this is a partisan issue, think about Mr Newt's
Contract on America. He claimed he satisfied the contract by bringing
everything on to the floor to be voted on in the first 100 days. Call
me suckered, but I didn't think it terminated in 100 days. I foolishly
thought if it didn't pass the first time, try, try again. Yes, they
got rid of the morning ice buckets, but the pols still need someone to
push the button on the elevator for them, and they are still exempt
from the laws governing insider trading they applied to the rest of
US. Nor have we heard the words "Term Limits" come out of any pols
mouth since---even after the Speaker of the House, Tom Foley, was
turned out by his home district for opposing it.

You know what I'm talking about. Certainly you've seen plenty of it
yourself. The auto industry, once the premiere manufacturer on the
globe, is in the process of being sold off piece-meal, to the highest
bidder. Once the breadbasket of the world, we now import food and
medicine from the other side of the globe. Even guns and ammo are
imported. Do you see a pattern yet?

I fell like a stranger in my own country, just like Mr Edwards. This
is not the America I grew up in where kids came in when the street
lights went on and doctors made house visits. (Best place to catch a
cold is in a doctors waiting room.)

The Bush-Clinton-Bush NAFTA begat the SPP, which plans to marry Canada
& Mexico to the USA. Isn't that polygamy? They imported so many
illegal aliens they want US to believe we have no choice but to accept
them, sorta like these new Wall st super-monopolies that are "too big
to fail." And then there's the NAFTA Super Hwy with all it's tentacles
connecting the population to deep sea ports in Mexico where Chinese
shipping containers unloaded.

I know I get everything, but it's already too long to memorize.
Besides you've witnessed the fall just as I have. I raised 6 kids with
a stay-at-home mom; who can afford to do that today? Gay rights,
same-sex marriages, abortion-on-demand, citizens being tazered, cops
getting away with murder, pols lining their pockets with tax dollars,
etc.

The govt that represents US has mandated we drive smaller cars, and
outlawed Thomas Edison's light bulb. They are taking control of the
Internet in the next 2 years, letting the current Internet "whither on
the vine." In less than 4 months, you will will not be able to pick up
free TV on the airwaves without purchasing a $70 converter. How much
the cost of cable TV is scheduled to increase, is anyone's guess.

Doesn't it make you wonder, who's side they are on?

To them the constitution is like Henry Paulson's Bail Out plan. He
gave Bush a single page outline, who gave a 3-page presentation to the
House, who wrote a 110 page bill for the Senate to approve. The Senate
declined. They re-wrote the bill, and returned it to the House with
over 450+ pages of incumbent re-election assurance included---and the
president signed it gladly.

This is like something you'd expect from another Paulson, Pat Paulson
could have done something with.

If anybody knows how 5% of Americas mortgages going bad can bring the
international banking system to a halt, please let me know. As for the
Constitution, the legitimate congressional powers are enumerated in
the 10 sections of Article I. FYI. That's about 10 double-spaced pages
in my pocket sized copy of the Constitution. The Founders failed to
give the govt the power it exercised above.

Now the good news is, Paulson only got a mere $700,000,000 of the
trillion or two he said was required. The bad news is, there's an
election in 2 weeks, and a chance someone like Franklin Raines and/or
Jamie Gorlick will be in charge of dishing out the the money to ACORN
and La Raza next year.

COLIN POWELL CONFIRMS BIDEN'S PREDICTION: Barack to be tested.

http://www.infowars.net/articles/october2008/211008Powell.htm

I've heard 2 different scenarios about this. 1.) As the new president,
Barack will be tested with an international crisis, e.g., like JFKs
Cuban Bay of Pigs Disaster, A Russian invasion of Georgia or nearby
republic, or even an attack on Israel. 2.) or, if you read his words
carefully, he may be calling for mandatory national service by
citizens. Could be either, or neither.

And the Final Question. R U ready to march now?

If so, you're on your own. Barely 2 dozen readers offered to join me
on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC where we would
burn our voting cards on the first Tuesday in November.

Plan B will be announced early next week.

PRICE OF GAS
Current gasoline price, $2.43, just one thin dime more than when the
gas shortage announcement was declared. What happened to the
speculators?

REMEMBER WHEN...
…it was worth your time and gas to stand in live waiting to vote for
the better candidate.

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO, HMMM IN THE NIGHT
If only Sarah was at the top of the ballot, hmmm?

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO, HUH?
When Obama was asked, "why do you want to raise capital gains taxes
when lower taxes generate more revenue for the govt, he responded by
saying because it was more fair." Huh?

Things you can't say aloud---because the answer might scare you.

When you vote for the lesser of 2 evils, you are still voting for evil.
