By my personal analysis I suspect he is most likely an illegal alien. Don’t get me wrong, I have no fantasies about McCain or any other Republican becoming president. The people voted weeks ago to choose their representatives to represent them Dec 15, in the Electoral College. Based on that election, the chances they will vote for any GOP candidate is somewhere between nil and nada. The Republicans have no dog in this fight. Same with conservative talk radio. They don’t want any part of it lest they be blamed. There are only two people on the planet who could benefit from the disqualification of Obama. My guess is, if he were disqualified before the Electoral College votes, they will elect Hillary. If he’s disqualified after they vote, the VP candidate, Joe Biden would would be elevated to president. It’s as simple as that. If he is exposed after Jan 20, to would no longer be enjoyable. He’d be a usurper and any bill he signed in to law would be null and void. That could cause any number of unintended consequences. There’s nothing funny about that. My enjoyment aside, there are some very important lessons we’ve learned. The obvious news coverage, or lack of coverage, confirms all the statistics about the one-sided coverage they presented to their readers/viewers. Certainly, their credibility is down there in the gutter with the Congress, looking up at GWB. When I heard the Chgo Trib was filing for bankruptcy protection, it brought a smile to my face. I remember when they joined the CIA coup vs Richard Nixon. Recently, there is something even more disturbing. The blind defenders of Barak with less proof than I, are embarrassingly stupid. They blame the right wing (fill in the blank) for the scandal. Or, they say who cares, the people have spoken; he’s president. They don’t care that the Electoral College hasn’t voted. They have no choice but to vote for the candidate that won their state. To me, they are disrespecting the constitution that protects US all. Ignoramuses, all. One article pointed out the Electors are independent. If they voted for an illegal alien, it was okay because they didn’t take an oath to uphold the constitution! The author actually believed that a unqualified citizen could become president in violation of the constitution because the Electors didn’t take an oath. Huh? Nor do I understand jurists who dismiss a case for lack of standing, with no concern of its merits. Seems to me, that anyone subject to the laws signed by the president has standing. It’s insane to ignore the merits because of the status of the complainant. Justice takes a back seat based on who brings the charges, is neither blind nor just. Is it okay to pummel an illegal alien, because “he has no standing”? The worst of all are those who don’t care what the Constitution says; it’s obsolete; what matters is what they think that’s right. If what is right or wrong are based on the opinion of the day, why have a written contract in the first place? These people think they are progressive, but in reality, they are like the monarchists who decided what the laws were on a case-by-case basis before the Magna Carta and Napoleonic Laws. These people are dangerous. Incidentally, that applies to the case Vs McCain, where the judge ruled that it was “obvious” that he was a natural born American even though he was born on a base leased from the Panama govt. What if a candidate were 34, but looked older. Would that be “obvious” and no need to check. Attn all cocktail lounges. What makes me most suspicious is: why doesn’t Obama simply release the Vault copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate? Why don’t the Hawaiian hospitals have a record of attending him or his mother when he was born? Less important questions might be: did he attend a school in Indonesia where only Indonesian citizens were allowed to enroll, and did not allow dual citizenship. How did he travel to Nigeria when the USG wasn’t allowing Americans to travel there; did he travel to Nigeria using an Indonesian passport (issued only to Indonesian citizens). I suspect some or all of these could easily be explained, but he has not done so. Why? Another dopey columnist said it didn’t matter because there was a precedent set by Chester A. Arthur who may or may not have been born in Vermont , but his dad had him naturalized. Isn’t that like saying it’s okay to speed because the guy in front of you set the “precedent”? Besides, being naturalized doesn’t renounce citizenship like when getting an Indonesian passport. I’d be happy to entertain reasonable explanations to any of these questions, but the longer they are ignored, the more I come to believe he is hiding something. Congrats to the AP This is the latest, the first announcement that any suit has been brought. I wonder if they would have sent anything if the decision was to hear the suit next week. They say the Donofrio (NJ) suit will not be heard.
