The goal of the establishment was to deneuter the TEA Party. The GOP cheered the success of House speaker John Boehner’s negotations: $38 B was the best he could do, they stated, while the left cried like babies. Others are sure to join the ruckus when they realize not only were the cuts miniscule, but Congress’s vote has effectively approved spending an additional $1.1 Tril between now and Sept 30. ‘Tweren’t so long ago that was the nation’s annual budget. Don’t worry. Names of the culprits are being taken and primary contestants with TEA Party beliefs and morals are being sought. The TEA Party Caucus will grow. Anybody who followed politics in the ‘90’s knows Rebublican Speakers is a dangerous political position. The speakers of the House fell one after another, until they compromised with Danny Hastert. I have a suggestion. There is no rule limiting the Speaker of the House to be an elected House member. Why not offer the job to Mr Newt, or Tom “the Hammer” Delay when his conviction is thrown out. As non-elected officials they would be politically free to do the right thing and be impervious from dirty socialist slander.
