To All, Plz excuse the delay in getting this message out, but the figures kept changing faster than I could click on SEND. Rich Martin I’m sure I’m not alone that is deeply disappointed re: the relatively small cuts Boehner negotiated with the prez. What I don’t understand is how virtually every reliable conservative source praised it, and the Soros media empire moaning how Obama got rolled. Fox’s very wise and dependable Brit Hume And Bill Kristol Declare Tea Party Victory In Budget Battle http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-brit-hume-and-bill-kristol-declare-tea-party-victory-in-budget-battle/ The only exception I heard was Rush Limbaugh. Without faulting anyone, he correctly stated $38 Bil is too small to be of concern. It was being reported that the TEA Party was upset. Unreasonably upset. In the house there were ony 38 TEA Party Caucus members opposed, one of which was Micelle Bachman. How can that be? And why didn’t any TEA Party Senator cast a veto forcing every Democrat to come out of hiding and vote Vs the "spending cut" and self-identify any RINO not opposed? My disappointment, is rooted in the unreasonably high expectation which resulted coming from conservative rhetoric. I was truly expecting to see, and even hoping the GOP leadership grew a pair and allowed the stalemate to “close the govt” if necessary. Rush theorized that the establishment Dems and GOP conspired to discourage TEA Party supporters. He could very well be right. That wouldn’t surprise anyone. "Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose." Alinskys Rules For Radicals, Tactic #8 Maybe, no maybe, Rush is right. I read about it before at: http://www.theobamafile.com/_opinion/Cloward-Piven.html Tom DeLay on Averted Government Shutdown http://video.foxnews.com/v/4638892/tom-delay-on-averted-government-shutdown/ Had the GOP leadership had the cahoonas to close down the unessential govt programs, how would they pay Obama’s czars? The only thing they are essential for is to destroy the United States. Most likely, they’d have to break some rules to spend the $23.6 B not yet spent to install Obamacare before the new fiscal year starts Oct 1. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." Alinskys Rules For Radicals, Tactic #9 I have written and re-written the above in an effort to get my arms around what happened. I felt it was wrong but when was the last time Britt Hume was wrong? It wasn't until Rush spoke up. I was right to be in a funk. We was had. Mark Levin suppled the details. The cuts weren't $38 B as reported at all. it was a small fraction of that. It wasn't a drop of water in the ocean; it was a fly in the Milky Way Universe. Here's how he said it in his own words. http://rope.zmle.fimc.net/player/player.html?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpodloc%2Eandomedia%2Ecom%2FdloadTrack%2Emp3%3Fprm%3D2069xhttp%3A%2F%2Fpodfuse%2Ddl%2Eandomedia%2Ecom%2F800185%2Fpodfuse%2Dorigin%2Eandomedia%2Ecom%2Fcitadel%5Forigin%2Fpods%2Fmarklevin%2FLevin04112011%2Emp3 If the above link doesn't work, goto: http://www.marklevinshow.com/home.asp and click on Audio Then click on the 04/11 in the Rewind Column on the righthand side of the page -- To join RichsRants, send email to: [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/richsrants?hl=en
