The first hour shows the original attack which has seen most of the what coverage made it to the public. It does not show the ATF agent throw a smoke grenade into the room his 3 fellow ATF officers had just entered thru the window. It cuts to where he’s laying on the roof. If you’re familiar with those scenes, you may want go to Part 2. Part 2 is in the right hand column. It came out years later (I own copies of both VCR tapes) and it is more concerned with the aftermath. It shows both views side-by-side, allowing the viewer to consider who is right and who was wrong. On our trips to Mt Carmel, Peggy and I had the good fortune of meeting the Jury Foreman Sarah Bain, former Attny Genl Ramsey Clark and several of the Davidians who are in this vid. How the govt pulled this hoax off with so many people involved and making themselves the victim is beyond me. Several of them got big promotions within their dept. It pains me to say it, but I lost faith in my govt when they covered up for each other. I will never forgive them for that. In watching this so many years later there were things I had forgotten. I never made the connection between the “suicide” of Vince Foster and his role at Waco. I didn’t remember that one of the 3 Davidians who were caught trying to sneak into Mt Carmel had an execution-style bullet in the side of his head. Govt agencies such as the ATF and FIB (my name for them) are above the law, and they know it, especially when the White House is involved. (Those SEALS in Afghanistan will never write a book.) The military cannot be trusted to be on our side. They are committed to their chain of command. The media can be bought. It failed US in 1993 and ever since. Even the Texas Rangers (Texas State Police) hid physical evidence for the fedl govt for years. The judiciary is susceptible to corruption. Congress is willing to take an active part in the cover up of wrong doing by fedl agencies. Being a citizen of the United States is no assurance that your govt will act fairly and honestly in any encounter any one of US may have with them. Never have I met so many peaceful good people as the Davidians who escaped the massacre. To call them gentle, is an understatement. I never knew what to say to them when I met them in person. I still don’t. The U.S. govt is willing to murder innocent citizens if it fulfills a political agenda. There is no statute of limitations on mass murder.
