Put the govt on an allowance and balance the budget.

The fastest way to balance the budget is to do nothing at all.
Take away the credit card.
The only money that can be spent then,
is the circa $200 million/mo of tax payer voluntary contributions.

If you think after all these many months Congress can’t solve the $14 tril
dollar hole they created, what makes you think they can solve it after they
spend the $200 bil/mo plus another trillion or two?
It would have been easier if they tackled this problem a year ago, it will be
harder to resolve a year from now.

I am especially concerned about a few individuals normally on our side. RINOS,
like McCain and Huntsman, I understand.
Some of these people can’t tell the difference between not borrowing more and
defaulting.

But people like Laura Ingraham and Alan West surprise me. It gives me pause to
reassess by p.o.v., but in the mean time, it seems to me a creditor would be
upset if a payment was made late or missed, but he’d be furious if a debtor was
running up a bill which would take generations to be repaid, if at all.

If a payment was late, the interest rate might increase; but if spending
exceeded income on a regular basis, the interest rates would be much higher
because it was riskier and more likely to default.

Isn’t this the box they’ve put US in? Spending like there’s no tomorrow might
be a self-fufillling prophesy.

One reason to give BHO a trillion dollars is he has a track record. He helps
his friends
To most of US, we have come to believe that the president can’t be that stupid.
He has said he wants to transform the Republic. Why wouldn’t anyone believe
him? He knew when he spent the trillion-dollar stimulus pkg to bail out the Big
Banks too big to fail, GE., “invest” billions in a Brazil oil well, send $50K
checks to phony black farmers, he was deliberately undermining the national
economy. Why can’t Washington see that is what he will do again if given half a
chance? Transform the Republic.

And then he single-handedly stops oil companies from drilling, fisherman from
fishing, farmers from farming and Border Patrol from patrolling, keeping his
campaign promise to Transform some more.

And he’s punished his enemies.
The establishment GOP are warning US about expressing our feelings about
Speaker Boehner and friends.
Let me say this. Fool me once (on the budget talks) shame on you. Fool me again
(on the credit limit) shame on me).

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO, HUH?
The GOP wants to borrow $2 Tril to cover expenses till Nov 2012  and reduce
future expenses by $1 Tril over the next 10 yrs. Huh?

REMEMBER WHEN...
…JFK launched the space program, and we were as proud as peacocks? Do you
realize that every man who walked on the moon was an American? And now we’re
hitchhikers? How far we’ve fallen.

Things you can't say aloud---because the answer might scare you.
We know we’ve been falling for a long time, but that’s all right. The problem
isn’t falling, it’s the sudden stop at the end.
