Face it. We’ve been double crossed on the Credit Ceiling limit. Duh. If our Congress did nothing, our budget would be balanced today. We'd be talking about closing down the EPA, TSA and Dept of Ed.
We should have learned from the Budget talks, but we thought the Speaker just got snookered. He deserved a 2nd chance. All hat and no cattle. If we ever give him a 3rd chance, it will be our fault. We did get a lot of praise, in the media and all. Even the prez said nice things. We got them to talk about the debt, they said. That would never have happened. And the prez is happy he’s got enough money to last until the election is over. Big deal. That and $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee. We’re insulted that you think we’re so stupid you can pull such a dumb trick on us. We know we lost again. We lost bad. No jobs. Our AAA credit rating is still at risk; default never was, but might be after 2 more Tril is squandered away. Our political leaders got everything they wanted, and we got screwed again. We did not slow spending; we gave away the store and a couple trillion dollars which will undoutedly be used to finance democrat re-election campaigns. Dear Mr Obama, We know you lie when you say there’s no new taxes, why else would the Senate not put forward a debt bill of its own---except to make sure there’s no doubt this bill originated in the House, where all revenue bills must originate (except Obamacare). We know you’ve got a lot of union thugs, a private army(s) in training, TSA is learning how to manhandle citizens and BHO is bringing back 20,000 military troops to put down anticipated “Civil unrest.” Why do you imagine, do you anticipate civil unrest?
