“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if
you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come
to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and
only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may
have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish
than to live as slaves.” Winston Churchill

Why GE doesn’t pay taxes

Repatronizing Corp profits earned abroad
There’s a movement afoot that wants to lower the tax on corps doing business
outside the USA . Current corp tax is 35% on all money repatriated. The
argument goes, if we reduce the tax, i.e. to zero, all that money they’re
sitting on will flow back into this country to be re-invested or distributed to
stockholders. That’s the boost our economy needs.

Sounds perfectly logical. But wait a minute, isn’t there a piece or 2 missing
from the puzzle. Could it be that simple? Why would savvy entrepreneurs like GE
CEO Jeffrey Immelt invest money and transfer whole divisions to China knowing
he’ll have to pay an additional 35% on the profits of that venture? What’s in
it for him? What’s in it for GE and ultimately their stock holders?

Maybe they believe the govt will lower the tax some time in the future, and
when it does, they’ll be bring it home. But that means that they’ve got all
their profits sitting in foreign banks, maybe collecting 5% interest, with no
where to put it.  Not likely. Those profits have been re-invested overseas. Or,
they’ve found a way to repatriate those funds without paying the 35% tax. They
aren’t just stuffed in really big bank vaults.

Maybe they’re buying product in China with those profits and sending it to the
US untaxed? Maybe there’s another tax loop hole. I dunno. I just know they
aren’t stupid enough to invest their money without a fair return on their
investment. Much less no return on their investment.

People like Immelt aren’t stupid. And if he were, their stockholders would be
looking for a new CEO. I for one, would like an explanation how they can make
so much and end up with a negative income tax balance.

There’s one other thing I remember from my college days. Taxes paid to a
foreign govt are deductible from IRS taxes? Hey, didn’t I read that GE didn’t
have to pay taxes last year, and didn’t I read they have a big credit balance
with the IRS? Perhaps all the taxes they pay to all the foreign countries they
are in…hmmm.

Karl Rove (and establishment) on eligibility.
On Hannity, Karl Rove said Obama was born in the USA and is therefor a citizen,
period. He went on to say: time arguing eligibility takes time away from the
real issue. Pardon me but, if obama is proved to be a usurper, no hard-fought
legislation will be required to undo all the damage that man has done.

RETIREMENT PAY FRAUD
When a military or govt employee retires and collects a Fedl pension; he/she
does not qualify for a Social Security check; however, they can get a job in
the private sector and pay into Social Security which they can collect on at
age 65. This is perfectly legal and called “double dipping”.
There have been reports that some govt employees. ie, in education, where a
teacher retires with her union pension, but on his/her last day, he/she is
technically assigned to the Maintenance Dept or such, and therefor qualifies
for a Social Security at age 65 as well. This too, is perfectly legal and is
called fraud.

The per person Medicare Part B insurance premium will increase from the
present monthly fee of $96.40, rising to: $104.20 in 2012; $120.20 in 2013;
And $247.00 in 2014. Just as now, they will be deducted from recipients checks.
These are provisions incorporated in the Obamacare legislation, purposely
delayed so as not to 'confuse' the 2012 re-election campaigns.
Send this to all seniors that you know, so they will know who's throwing them
under the bus.
REMEMBER THIS IN NOVEMBER 2012 & VOTE ACCORDINGLY.
The Party of Theft strikes again.
Congress will vote on spending cuts/tax increases Dec 23, which means you’ll
have plenty of time to worry about another crisis by the time they reconvene.
Merry Christmas.

Question, re, the trillion dollar plus the govt just invested in the new solar
plants e.i., in Nevada and Calif : is the govt first or last in line when they
go bankrupt?

USDA Ditches Food Pyramid
Why does the fedl govt get involved in school lunches?
Perhaps it made sense when we were the bread basket of the world,
but now we’re a food importer. We shut the water off in the Central Valley
and we use corn to fill our gas tanks. Maybe we should consider
other problems, such as putting our children on diets and get the
USDA out of our schools so they can raid more food pantries.

Forget the impeachment. If he’s impeached we’ll have to deal with all the laws
he’s enacted, with and/or without the help of Congress. If he’s found to be a
usurper, everything he did will all be null and void immediately and we can
turn our attention to up-righting the SS America.

Things you can't say aloud
U.S.citizen Anwar al-awlaki was assassinated. Ron Paul and a few others claim
it was an illegal murder, while most said good riddance. Obama on the other
hand, is claiming it was approved by the United Nations.

There is another possibility. A Secret Court called FISA was created by the
one-term DemocRAT President, Jimmy Carter. The Democrat Congress gave this
Secret Court  made up of anonymous “judges” the right to give the POTUS
permission to violate the Constitution, such as assassinating enemies of the
state. It seems likely if Obama didn’t seek their permission, likely his
predecessor did.
