Tea Party Patriots co-founder arrested for handgun at airport

“While in temporary transit through the state of New York in possession of an
unloaded, lawful firearm that was locked in a TSA-approved safe, he legally
declared his possession of the fire arm in his checked baggage at the ticket
counter as required by law and in a manner approved by TSA and the airline, yet
was arrested by port authority for said possession.”

Once upon a time, in my idealistic years, I took a job at a Public Housing
Project located in the Jamaica Plains area of Boston , MA. 3 teens jumped me on
the grounds on my way to work. Lucky for me they settled for the $10 I had in
my wallet. (It was the 2nd time I had been jumped that a year.)
That night at home we discussed options. We decided it would be prudent to
carry a weapon.
The next Sunday I met with the Lynn Chief of Police who was on the church’s
Finance Board which I chaired. He asked me one question, do you carry company
cash in public. I did not, and he couldn’t issue me a license to carry.

After that, I had one of the supervisors drive me to and from el train where I
felt safer.

"Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion
of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished
period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers
(adminstrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan
of reducing us to slavery."
