World War II veterans have overwhelmingly supported H.R. 2070. "It is unconscionable that the Obama administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation’s distinguished World War II veterans," said Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH). "President Roosevelt’s prayer gave solace, comfort and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression." The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee has blocked this bill for two months. I say it's time we call each of 22 Senators, at 202-225-3121, and bury all 100 Senators in fax paper, demanding the FDR prayer be engraved on the WWII memorial.
