Subject:[BAP2] SFTP Recap

San FranciscoTea Party

The police said we had about 600 in attendance!

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO DEMONSTRATED VALOR BY ATTENDING THE SFTP, WHO PAID FOR
PARKING AND GAS AND FERRY/BART TIX, WHO BOUGHT T-SHIRTS AND FINGERS, WHO TOOK
YOUR WRIST BANDS AND LEGACY CARDS, CHEERED, CHANTED  AND WAVED A FLAG!

THANKS FOR YOUR UNFLAGGING SUPPORT!

THANKS TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS.  WITHOUT THE PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS, THERE
IS NO TEA PARTY!
It was great to put some faces to names. I apologize if I spaced out on some
names, which I did.  And, if you RSVP'd but were unable to show at the last
minute, we really missed you and we hope all is well.

There were some interesting moments like when that guy just stepped up to the
mic and started talking during the fife and drum.  Or when Jim, an American
from  Burma (I think I have the right name) was interrupted during his
astroturfing moment by the lady who walked up countering his point about
religious freedom being eroded.

But our tea partiers handled it like pros; security and the SFPD were on top of
it; and, in a strange kind of way, all it really accomplished was to reveal who
the real lunatics are, no? (Carla Marinucci had a front page article in the
Chronicle and quoted a Democrat strategist calling us lunatics.  I think, if
anything, Carla's article highlighted the lunacy emanating from anywhere but
the tea party--if you read the article, we sound like the rational people
because, well, we are. )

I'll adapt the script a bit so those of you who weren't there can see where we
went w/ this event.  Of course the best parts of this were unscripted--the
candidates, activists and People who astroturfed.

Will send pix soon.

More to come!  And if you'd like a T shirt, visit the
www.sfteapartystore.com.  All funds go to BAP-SFTP activities and w/ the
election nearing, we are going to be active.

Subject:[FTPP] Mayor of Fremont

By the way, Steve Cho is running for Mayor of Fremont. I am supporting him,
already have his flyers and a sign on my car for him when I am running around
Fremont. Cho is a Republican, was on the city council a few years ago and ran
for Mayor . We need to support him too while we are at it.
