The Obama administration has not only unilaterally instituted a two-year amnesty for a large body of illegal aliens, but has also threatened immigration agents who seek to enforce our laws. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents report that they are subject to punishment if they determine that an alien does not meet the amnesty criteria and is subject to deportation proceedings. The ICE union states that a veteran agent arrested an illegal alien who had ten traffic violations. The ICE agent determined that the alien did not fit within the parameters of the Executive DREAM Order and initiated deportation proceedings. According to the union, “The agent’s supervisors overruled him and ordered him to release the illegal alien….
