We will soon be told how POTUS and Congress decided to save US from the
"falling over the fiscal cliff" they created.
Compared to the nation's ever growing debt, this is small potatoes. (I'd be
willing to bet that their "solution" for the problem they created will add to
our nationally lethal debt problem, the national debt.)
Given the choice, go over the so-called fiscal cliff or adding to the growing
debt crisis, I'd take the former.
Sound silly? No, our debt is already so great it will have to be paid by our
children and grandchildren---but before that happens, we will lose our current
B interest rating raising interest rates on the national debt, our currency
will eventually collapse and we'll get the experience the Germans endured post
WWII---super inflation plus bankruptcy. We are headed not just the politcally
contrived fiscal cliff, but the demise of this once great nation with eyes
open.
Given our current course, how could it be otherwise?

PS
What do you think the first business of the new year will be, re-elect Boehner
& Reed who got us here, or announce the "agreement" they made to save US from
their cliff?

Is the Constitution the Supreme Law of the Land?
Q. Is the Constitution the Supreme Law of the Land as stated repeatedly in
classrooms around the nation for the last couple hundred years, or not?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supremacy_Clause
Q. Since the very first sentence of the Constitution gives Congress ALL
legislative powers, can laws passed by any other means,or if called by another
name, such as a rule, be legally valid?
Q. Can laws/rules superceeding the Constitution be passed by Treaty, eg, the
United Nations gun grab or Agenda 21, without the consent of the House of Reps,
much less the governed? See Article VI before answering.
Q. Under what conditions can the Supreme Law of the Land be violated? Can a war
be declared by executive fiat even if Congress doesn't object? What if the war
goes on longer than permitted by Congress's existing law? Is that treason?
Q. Can a military officer be sanctioned for disobeying a direct executive order
if it violates his oath of office? Can he be court martialed for breaking his
oath?
Q. Have the IX and X Amendment been secretly repealed?
Q. Can you name the only one of the 10 Bills of Rights that is still intact?
Have a happy and prosperous New year.

If anyone in Washington has an ounce of brains, and that's up for grabs, the
first action of the Congress will be elect new leaders with new ideas,
Constitutional ideas, nation-saving ideas.
